I'll just shave my head

Our healthy male patient, now 46 years old, noticed some mild temporal hair recession in his 30s. By the time he turned 40, he decided to just virtually shave his head or wear a very short cut. He tried the well-known over-the-counter supplements to which he had a mild reaction. He tried topical Minoxidil which did not provide any results. He mentioned his hair loss to his dermatologist and obtained a prescription medication. Despite the improvement, he discontinued taking it after only a year.
